Vardakeios school organises intensive Greek language courses for foreigners combined with afternoon cultural activities. The courses are intended for adults who wish to learn or improve their Greek while wanting to experience the daily life of a Cycladic island that is alive all year round.

Where can you find us ?
The school is located in the center of Ermoupolis, just behind the Apollo Theater. In 5` on foot you can swim in Asteria beach or eat in the two cafes-restaurants in the area.
Ωράριο
Τα μαθήματα πραγματοποιούνται πρωινές ώρες από τις 9.30 -13.00. Οι διδακτικές ώρες διαρκούν 60` και ενδιάμεσα υπάρχουν δύο 15` διαλείμματα. Συνολικά το σεμινάριο περιλαμβάνει 30 διδακτικές ώρες και επιπρόσθετα προσφέρει απογευματινές δραστηριότητες.
Teaching method
The courses focus on all four language skills but with an emphasis on the production and comprehension of spoken language. Students are given the opportunity, through small projects and evening activities to communicate with natural speakers and get to know Greek culture. At the same time, students have the opportunity to experience an intercultural experience through their contact with students of different nationalities.
Cultural activities
* Excursion / hiking in Apano Meria
* Guided tour of the medieval settlement of Ano Syros, the historic center of the city and the most important neoclassical buildings of Ermoupolis, the Archaeological and Industrial Museum, the Apollo Theater and the City Hall

Τα τμήματα είναι ολιγομελή (6–7 άτομα). Σε περίπτωση που σχηματιστεί τμήμα 2 ατόμων μόνο, οι ώρες αυτομάτως μειώνονται από 3 σε 2 την ημέρα
